Genesis Garden
Our outside space was completed in 2024. We have a small garden area at the top of the car park. It is a secure area, with a gate that can be locked, but behind the fence we have a potting shed, which contains a 6ft table, chairs and shelving unit. The grass is astro turf so we have no maintenance and around the outside we have raised planters with a variety of plants and bulbs already planted. The seating consists of the 3 sets of garden furniture – settee, two chairs (with cushions) and a table.
A seated fire assembly areas has been created – but we hope it will never be used!
A pathway around the far side of our building with a decking areas for outside activities to take place.
We are grateful to Chorley Council for giving us a grant to create such a lovely space and for the Duchy of Lancaster for the grant to purchase the furniture.
Now all we need is some good weather!!
